Interior Seating

All Wakefield Wood Tubs will come with an interior seat built in. Oval tubs will have a single seat and round tubs will have a circular bench seat. Ask us about custom options you may be considering. We are happy to discuss alternatives.

Steps and Ladders

Exterior steps or ladders are available in cedar or chromed metal, depending on your preference. If your tub is built into a deck or an enclosure to hide all of the mechanical components, we can design and supply integrated steps for any application.

Insulated Covers

Tub covers help keep your tub water clean and provide valuable insulation to keep the heat in and your tub warm. Covers come in a variety of shapes and sizes and can be custom-ordered to fit your tub configuration. Available colours are shown.

Our tub covers feature:

• Tapered foam thickness (5 inches thick in middle, tapering down to 3 inches at the edges) allowing for water runoff
• CFC-free foam which is better for the environment
• The highest-density insulating foam on the market.
• Extra rigidity allowing for long life and all the abuse that you can expose it to
• Reinforced stitching in high-stress spots
• Marine grade vinyl that has mildew inhibitors and is mold resistant
• All foam is coated and sealed, which won’t allow for water-logging
• Double-reinforced stitched hinges are a standard feature
• All handles are double-stitched to be tear-free
• 4 lockable child safety tie downs allow for additional security

Optional Hot Tub Cover Lifter

The cover lifter is a hydraulic device that makes removing and replacing your hot tub cover easy. It has an adjustable mounting base that allows the lifter to slide beneath the spa. Its unique design will work with many of our hot tubs.

The cover lifters we supply offer these features:
 

• Requires approximately 20 inches of clearance behind the spa
• Designed to work on round and uniquely shaped spas
• Adjustable mounting base simply slides under the spa
• Works on nearly any spa up to 45 inches tall and 86 inches wide
